Incu-bytes
Who?
At GenAI Incubator, we call our startups Incu-bytes. These are small teams with big ideas, ready to grow.
Incu-bytes are early-stage startups or founding teams that want to build something meaningful with AI. But not just any kind of AI. We are focused on AI for Good.
That means we are looking for people using artificial intelligence to solve real human problems. Your project could be in healthcare, education, climate, accessibility, ethics, or anywhere technology can improve life.
If your project helps someone live more fully, learn more easily, stay safer, or be heard more clearly, you speak our language.
What’s Next?
Before you jump in, take a moment to reflect on your project. Ask yourself two questions:
Is this truly AI for Good?
Do I have the passion to see it through to launch?
If your answer to both is a full-throttle, no-doubt-about-it Yes, then you’re ready for the next part.
Read the Four Phases and Eleven Steps, our roadmap from onboarding to Demo Day. We design it to challenge, support, and prepare you for what comes next.
Still with us?
Then go ahead and hit the Application Form. Your journey starts here.
Incu-bytes Four Phases
Phase 1 - Selection Process
Phase 1 is where we get to know you. We review your submission, schedule a conversation, and evaluate whether your project aligns with our mission of AI for Good.
We seek clarity of purpose, technical feasibility, and the spark that says:
“Yes, this founder is serious.”
Phase 2 - Offer & Acceptance
If your project is selected, you’ll receive an invitation to join the cohort. Phase 2 includes a detailed offer outlining the resources, mentorship, and support available to you, along with equity terms if applicable.
You’ll have time to review, ask questions, and decide if the fit feels right.
No pressure. Just clarity.
Phase 3 - Accelerated Dev.
Once you’re in, the real work begins in Phase 3. Over the next three months, you’ll build fast and learn faster.
With guidance from technical advisors, domain experts, and business mentors, you’ll shape your idea into a working product or service.
Think of it as three months of focused momentum—without the noise.
Phase 4 - Demo Day
Phase 4 is your moment.
You’ll present your progress to a curated audience of funders, partners, and potential collaborators.
It is about raising money and finding people who believe in your mission and want to see your success.
Powered by success.
1st Step: Sourcing Incu-bytes
This step is part of Phase 1.
All founders and employees are encouraged to actively source and recommend potential Incu-bytes for inclusion on the list.
The Incu-bytes Application Form
After applying, the Incu-bytes will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to schedule an appointment with the Incu-champion.
2nd Step: Pre-Qualification
This step is part of Phase 1.
Incu-champion (from the company) will take the lead in conducting Google Meet calls, pre-qualifying the Incu-bytes to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for the program.
Please note that not all Incu-bytes will be selected to move forward.
If your team is not chosen at this stage, it does not reflect your project’s worth or potential. It simply means that, at this time, it may not be the right fit for the GenAI Incubator.
We genuinely encourage you to continue developing your idea and consider reapplying in the future.
3rd Step: Presentation to Incu-Founder
This step is part of Phase 1.
The Incu-Champion will present selected Incu-bytes to the founding team for further review and discussion. This step is part of our preselection process.
Please note that being presented does not guarantee final selection into the program.
4th Step: Deliberation & Selection
This step is part of Phase 1.
The Incu-founders will engage in a deliberative process to collectively select (unanimous vote) the Incu-bytes that will be invited to join the cohort. They may contact the Incu-bytes for further discussion.
Not all Incu-bytes will be invited to join the upcoming GenAI Incubator cohort. You have shown great potential, and we truly appreciate the thoughtfulness behind your submission. Unfortunately, we only have a limited number of available spots per cohort.
If not selected, we encourage you to continue refining your idea, and we sincerely hope you will consider reapplying in a future cohort.
5th Step: Onboarding Package Creation
This step is part of Phase 2.
Once the Incu-bytes are selected, the Incu-handler will create a customized onboarding package tailored for each team. This package will include essential resources and information to facilitate their integration into the program.
6th Step: Negotiation of Terms
This step is part of Phase 2.
Incu-Negotiators manage the legal and business terms between the GenAI Incubator and each Incubyte team. Their role is to ensure that agreements are fair and transparent and set the stage for a strong partnership.
The agreement's core structure is straightforward: in exchange for equity shares in Incubyte’s company, the GenAI Incubator provides direct financial investment, technical mentorship, business strategy guidance, and access to a network of industry experts and investors.
This support is designed to accelerate each Incubyte’s growth, helping them move from early-stage development to market readiness with the resources and relationships they need to succeed.
7th Step: Legal Agreement
This step is part of Phase 2.
After successful negotiations, the Incu-handler will send the legal agreements to the Incu-bytes for their review and signature. This is a pivotal point. The Incu-bytes will then formally join the GenAI Incubator.
Congratulations! You are now accepted to the GenAI Incubator.
8th Step: Accelerate Development
This step is part of Phase 3.
The Incu-mentor will provide comprehensive support to the Incu-bytes, covering areas from technical and design assistance to legal and fairness guidance. The goal is to accelerate the Incu-bytes’ development over a three-month period.
All Incu-bytes in this cohort will start and end development simultaneously.
9th Step: Investor Pre-engagement
This step is part of Phase 3.
The Incu-coach will coach the Incu-bytes on how to present to investors and funders, how to write the pitch deck, and, most importantly, how to determine appropriate funding requests.
10th Step: Demo Day
This step is part of Phase 4.
The Incu-DJ will conduct the Demo Day, ensuring a dynamic and engaging presentation for both Incu-bytes and investors. This is the moment for the Incu-bytes to showcase their innovations and potential.
After months of hard work and dedication, everything comes down to these 20 minutes of presentation.
It is GO time.
11th Step: Post-Demo - Last Step:
This step is part of Phase 4.
After the Demo Day, the Incu-coach will follow up with investors to encourage investment in the Incu-bytes. This step is crucial for facilitating connections and potential funding opportunities.
